Fishing for Sailfish off Fort Lauderdale
Today we had a group of guys and a young lady in the military out for a few hours of deep-sea fishing aboard the Hooked up off the coast of Fort Lauderdale.
We had John, Blake, Kristen, Dave and Justin.
Today we were looking for the big one so we set out both with live baits hanging from the kites and the trap was set.
It wasn't long till our first bite and Blake wasted no time jumping in the chair. After a 5 min fight we had the skunk out of the box and the Mahi-Mahi was in the box.
Soon after the first bite here comes another dolphin fish (welcome aboard the Hooked Up) Nice going Justin.
Than all of a sudden a sailfish showed up and BAM just like that we were Hooked Up.
After a good 20 min we had Kristen's first sailfish ever next to the boat. J.J. cut the leader as close as possible to the fish and off he went to fight again another day.
Guy's thanks again for fishing with us aboard the Hooked Up and thanks a million for serving our country.
