17/1/11 Great to be back reporting to you all, on the No Spin no Fly's just Facts zone, and today's Facts or I should say the lack of them, on Lough Currane, there were at least 12 Boats manipulating, but they all failed miserably in there duties, but at least a few anglers caught a few Kelts, and just for the record Lough Currane is on the dirty side after all the rain, so we anglers have a excuse for the lack of fish. Now we head for the Lobster Bar, where my Noble anglers headed for the traditional Bacon and cabbage Dinner, and a good party was had by all, hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Denis O'Carroll of the Lobster Bar.18/1/11 All quiet on the SW front, and just for the record there were only 4 boats out. Wind N light to calm. 19/1/11 There were 4 boats out and there were just a few Kelts caught. Wind S light and fresh in the afternoon. 20/1/11 Just a few boats out and no reports of any real rod bender. Wind ESE light with reasonable cloud cover at times and very cold this afternoon. 21/1/11 Bright sunshine all day and very little wind so the least said the better. Max air temperature 7.5c. 22/1/11 Lough was flat calm all day and nothing to report on the Salmon front except for a few Kelts being caught, on the weather front it was very cold this morning and just for the record there was very thin ice in places around the Lake. Max air temperature 7.2c. 23/1/11 The same as yesterday in all departments. Max air temperature 7.3c.That is all the news from your gillie and the Waterville fishery. No Spin No Fly's just Facts.
