15/3/10 Lough Currane was on the quiet side, in the Salmon department, but it was a different story in the Seatrout department where Mr John Buckley of Killarney caught a 3.5lbs Seatrout on the fly which he sportingly put back. Wind SSE then veered SSW light to calm and overcast, max air temperature 9.6c. 16/3/10 All quiet on the south west front, there was a strong southerly wind blowing and overcast with light rain this afternoon and evening, amount of rainfall 6.1mm, max air temperature 11.1c. 17/3/10 All anglers failed on this St Patrick's Day. Wind SSW light to fresh and overcast with light rain at times, amount of rainfall 1.0mm, max air temperature 12.6c. 18/3/10 Just one boat out manipulating, and drew a blank. On the water front it made a small flood, amount of rainfall 12.0mm, max air temperature 13.6c .Wind WSW fresh to strong and overcast until noon, and good sunshine throughout the afternoon. 19/3/10 All quiet and no strikes, but to be honest my noble angler is as lethargic as my Noble gentlemen the Salmon. Wind E then veered NE light and overcast with light rain this evening, amount of rainfall 6.2mm, max air temperature 11.7c. 20/3/10 There was a fine 10lbs Salmon caught on the troll in the morning by Mr Dave Ecclestone of the UK, Dave was fishing with his Gillie Mr Vincent O'Sullivan and of www.Vincentsfishing.com and for the rest of we anglers no comment. Wind NE then veered NNW light to calm with reasonable cloud cover, amount of rainfall 0.2mm, max air temperature 11.1c. 21/3/10 All quiet in all departments be it fly or troll. Wind S light to calm for most of the day, but once the rain came in at about 4.30pm the wind got up quite nasty from the SW, amount of rainfall 2.1mm, max air temperature 12.0c. That is your ration for this week, from your Gillie and the Waterville Fishery. No Spin No Fly's just facts.
