12/4/10 One 8lbs salmon caught on the troll, on the day shift, in a hired out boat from Watervilleboats@gmail.com by Mr. Sidney Kennedy fishing with his good friend Mr. Dan Lynch of Cork and of www.Tackledirectireland.com and on the evening shift there was a 7.5lbs Salmon caught on the troll by well known Taxi driver Mr. Gerard Cronin of Waterville. Wind N then veered SE and veered again into the SW late this afternoon light to fresh at times with bright sunshine all day. 13/4/10 All quiet on the SW front and with bright sunshine what do you expect.

Wind SW then veered NNW light to fresh, max air temperature 17.2c. 14/4/10 Lough Currane was flat calm this morning but that didn't stop Tim O'Connor from catching a fine 8lbs Salmon on the troll with his gillie Mr. Tom O'Shea and of www.Oshealoughcurrane.com Wind first thing this morning was east and calm and it wasn't until late this afternoon until the wind got up from the SW good enough for the fly. Max air temperature 14.0c. 15/4/10 All quiet on the SW front. Wind the same as yesterday, max air temperature 15.6c. 16/4/10 There were two Salmon caught, and normally I would leave the best to last, but not today because 11 year old Master George Cummins, who came all the way from Sydney Australia with his Dad to fish Waterville Lake for just a half a day, and Caught a cracker of a Salmon of 17lbs 10oz caught on the troll within a few minutes of being out on Lough Currane with their Gillie Mr. Dominic Mc Gillicuddy and I will finish by saying, young Georg. won the battle of the Icelantic ashes, and there was also a fine Salmon caught on the fly at the Ledge by Tim O'Connor with his Gillie Mr. Tom Shea and of www.Oshealoughcurrane.com Wind SSE then Veered SW light to calm. Max air temperature 13.0c. 17/4/10 All quiet on the SW front in both the sea trout and Salmon department but there was a fine Brown Trout of 3lbs caught on the troll by local Gillie Mr. Bob Priestley. Wind W then veered SW light to calm with bright sunshine throughout the day. Max air temperature 13.0c. 18/4/10 Again all quiet on all fronts and being a bright day with very little cloud, what do you expect, even though there was a nice westerly blowing down the Lake that stayed with us until about 6pm then veered NNE. Max air temperature 14.5c.That is your ration from your Gillie and the Waterville Fishery. No Spin No Fly's just facts.
