Salmon fishing continues to be great. Coho are everywhere and the amount of large Chinook caught every day is incredible. Big Bank has been the place of choice for most fisherman as we have been getting our limits of Chinook, Coho and Halibut all in one spot. Chinook have been ranging from 15-40 lbs and there are lots of them—so much so that I have been throwing back Chinook under 18 lbs the last few days! Chinook fishing is also good at the Starfish, Inside south, Inside Lighthouse, Outside Lighthouse, The Wreck, Great Bear, and many other places. You can go almost anyplace and get nice Chinook! We have been using Tomic Plugs, large Tomic or Wonder spoons, coyote spoons and hutchies. Are guides are all fishing different lures and doing very well. Coho fishing has been very good in most areas as Chinook and they seem to moved here in force.

Halibut Fishing
Halibut fishing is picking up. We have had consistent fishing, but it hasn't been as quite as good as years past in June, but July is getting much better. Big Bank is still the best choice and we have been trolling and bottom bouncing for them. We have been trolling glow hutchies and spoons and bottom bouncing Berkley Power bait.
