Good morning folks. Yesterday the action was from dawn till dusk. yellowtail on bird schools, drifts and anchored on the structure. A full day of fishing left just a handful of people at the rail with sore arms from the Yo- Yo jig and pulling on fish.

Not to much grief from the sea lions and good weather made for a nice day of fishing. Today we are fishing the beach looking for action on yellows and bass. We will be in tomorrow and leaving again on a 5 day trip.

We will report again tonight

Good afternoon folks. After 1.5 days of dealing with the elements at the island we have decided to head inside for some action on yellows. Leaving here with 75 trophy yellowfin we feel the work paid off. Today being the better day were we scratched from daybreak until 5:00 . We left at 5:00 and on the move in.

Guadalupe can be good for some of the people and tough for the others. Quite a few disappointments with shark bit fish but everyone manage fish in the end.

We will report again tomorrow.

Good morning folks. Not much to report except for the fact that we got out with a great load of bait. We decided to head to Guadalupe and give it a shot. If anything it will put us in position for yellows at Benitos and Cedros.

We will report again tomorrow.

Good evening, We are on our way back to San Diego. We finished up here this morning with a few nice yellows but that was all. Conditions have changed and the fish were not in the biting mood. All in all we had a very enjoyable time this year. We are already making plans for next year's Ono Custom Rod 5 dayer. We will have photos from this trip on Friday.

Good afternoon, What a difference a day makes. We were able to anchor up and hold our hot spot for the entire day. The only bad part of the day was that the great white sharks also knew where to find us and our hooked tuna. Our loses to the sharks were not bad but it did make things more exciting than normal. We have landed 55 yellowfins and a couple of tails so far today. Last night the tuna put on a little frenzy at dusk and we are hoping for the same.

Good afternoon folks. Yesterday turned out to be a great day of offshore fishing. Nice hits on albacore and good kelps with yellows and dorado. With 300 mixed fish to start the trip off, getting the sweat off for at least the first day.

Today started out good at Guadalupe scratching 22 tuna before the wind came up and blew us off. Numerous anchor jobs that would not stick left us scratching our heads in grief. Tomorrow we are going to try it again and hope to get the anchor to hold and of course get some fish. We will report again tomorrow.

Good morning folks. Yesterday brought action on kelps with Dorado, Yellowfin and Yellowtail. The yellows were good size the others were marginal. The action provided another day of action but no Jack pot was settled on the day. Although a nice Dorado was trolled up and looks to have sealed that contest. A great catch of yellowtail and the variety of yesterday made for a nice 4 day trip. Today we leave with the Ono Custom Rods 5 dayer, that leaves a little more breathing room in the southern waters.

We will report again tomorrow

Good morning folks. Another day of yellowtail fishing brought us an exceptional grade of fish from Cedros and Benitos. With an ending drift on school size yellows to finish off the day . With plenty of yellows on the boat we decided to investigate the offshore scene on our last day. So far not to impressed with the size of fish mostly releaser size tuna ,but the day is young.

Good morning folks. Yesterday we got a decent start on yellows and hoping for a full day of action today. A lot of small fish to weed through but fish up to 30 pounds mixed in. We got to the North end of Cedros at 2:30 in the afternoon after checking some beach spots only to find poor conditions. We loaded up on mackerel last night and are ready to go today. We will report again tomorrow.

Good morning folks, With the bait situation once again a problem we decided to head down in hopes of action on yellowtail at one of the Islands. We won't be there until later but maybe a stop on the way down at one of the beach spots. The weather is good inside and we are still waiting for things to calm down on the outside for later this trip. We will report again tomorrow.
