The river improvement project is finished and looks like a big success. The braids up river from Texas Hole are now open and fishing great. The whole section is different so watch your step as there are now lots of new holes and runs.

The fish habitat improvement of almost over, the rumor is the work will be completed by Tuesday the 22nd. We haven't heard when the river will return to the normal flows, or when they will let us into the newly refurbished area.

The baetis hatch is off the hook!!! Fish small gray or olive baetis nymphs from 1:00 to 5:00 in the faster water. It is some of the best dry fly fishing of the year!
