The weather has been windy and rainy lately but clients of Sun Coast Kayak Sport Fishing have been finding some very good fishing still. Most of the recent Sun Coast Kayak Sport Fishing charters have been night fishing trips around the lighted docks and sea walls of the ICW and adjacent areas. We have been running these trips primarily because the winds have been laying down in the evening and the chance for rain has been the least.
In these areas clients of Sun Coast Kayak Sport Fishing have been rewarded with great catch and release acton for Snook. In these same areas we have also been finding really nice catches of Redfish, Snapper, Sea Trout and even a few Small Tarpon have been jumped as well as a Goliath Grouper which surprised one client who thought he had "jaws" on the end of his line (the Goliath was succesfully released at boat side).
The weather should be switching here soon and Sun Coast Kayak Sport Fishing will once again be back o targeting the larger Snook in the more remote areas that are still biting very well when the conditions allow it.
