Offshore
Savannah Snapper Banks
I know I sound like a broken record, but what I am repeating is "all-good!" It's October and the fishing is great! This bite should last until end of 2007. This means you can fish as well as catch until the end of December! The offshore waters offer a lot during this time of the year. The bottom fishing is great especially in 100 feet of water. You really never know what you might catch, but the bottom line is that you most likely get lots of "bite attention!"
Since we don't have much of a winter anymore this makes fishing during this time frame very comfortable! To get the bite going especially during this time you need to have some sort of temperature change. In this case, when the temp is falling it prompts the migration of all sorts of fish. With that being said, "once again any fish you wish!"
For those of you that just want to fish I suggest heading out to any sort of live bottom and give it a try. The Savannah Snapper banks have lots of live bottom and drifting is always an option, because this mode normally turns into to catching! Almost any sort of bait will work.
