I set up at 2 p.m. Firts fish on at 2:04. The beach was quite empty, which is great to set up in exactly where you want to with what the tides are doing and wind direction. You gotta now what to look for and I FOUND IT! I had 10 landed in 45 minutes. Bob Kominsky pulled up , he's a buddy that I get fishing equipment from. He said it was dead up near Gillikin's area where he was fishing for an hour. I told him to fish right next to me to the South. By the time he got set up I had another 3. Bob's first cast were I told him to put it, as he's walking back up the beach after casting, to put his pole in his sand spike, boom! his pole hit him in the head!FISH ON ALREADY! Too histerical! Some of the fish were stung with the low hook and they were peeling of drag thinking it's a keeper. They were shorts and brought in sidways. Still fun but sucks for them. Ifished from 2-4:30 21 Stripers caught, Bob had 5, told him his clam was to low or did I forget to say that?Last 1/2 hour was brutal so I left and no bite.
