Sal Mattino

Hello everyone, this report starts off with a trip to the well known area of Pecks Lakes. A body of water that is acutually an Intercoastal waterway area. But te local folks refer to the ocean side also as Pecks Lake!

There some days you could probably walk across all the boast out in this area with out getting wet! The trick was to find out what the mackeral were eating or interested in. The lure of choice is a nice and shiney Clark spoon or a green tube. Today I decided to try the Mirrolure in th light blue color. This seemed to perform well boat several nice size mackeral in the 16-22 inch range.

There were plenty of blue runners in the mix just enough to keep you guessing. After we had our fill of the Spanish Mackeral we headed back for a date with a deep fryer! Thats all for today, boat safe & fish hard! Captain Sal from St. Lucie Sportfishing Charters!Visit our web-site at www.profishingcharters.com.
