Woody Gore

Started out early to catch the last of an incoming tide. We found a few nice fish and caught a limit using live shrimp. Drifted some grass flats using artificial soft plastic and caught all we wanted. The winds were light for a change which made for a nice drift. If you drift the flats to fish I would suggest purchasing a drift sock or sea anchor. Go big not small depending on your boat size. I have a 24 ft bay boat and i use a 6 foot sock. I slows you down nicely allowing you to fish.

There where plenty of lady fish, blue fish and the occasional pompano to keep things interesting.
