The ice left Sebago Lake in mid-April and the Salmon and Lake ttrout fishing has been great. Bill Swan, Doug Hall and I fished it on April 19th and boated 5 salmon up to 22.5 inches and 6 lake trout up to 24 inches. We were using sewed on smelt and trolling with 3 flyrods and 2 downrigger lines. The smelt run is happening at the mouth of the Songo River and fishing should be hot there until this subsides. Get out there and take advantage. As famous Sebago Guide Art Libby's business card used to say: "Enjoy yourself it's later than you think!
