Fishing Report Lake Guntersville 3/31/07
This week on the water was a very short one for me; I started out in my normal week on the water and had a recurring health problem send me to the hospital for some non-evasive surgery. Needless to say that got me down for a few days, so I only ended up with 2 very short days on the water.
We did however find the fish biting fairly well while catching 13 bass on a short 3-hour trip on Friday and 10 on Saturday in a similar trip. The down side was the fish were small but it did make for some good activity over a short period of time.
Most the fish this week came on a lizard or a dinger in around 4 to 6 feet of water over grass. We did manage to catch a few on Punisher's Flame Spinner bait, as I expect the spinner bait bite to get really hot as the bass come off the spawning bed. I really love this time of year there is no more fun for me than the spinner-bait bite and I get really excited when they get real active on this bait.
I still have a few openings this week, the 6th and 7th if you would like to fish please call for details.
