Fished two local trout ponds in Kennebec and Waldo Counties. We were trolling small stick baits and sewed on shiners, in the evening just before dusk. Picked up three brook trout one being 14.5 inches and one brown trout 18 inches in size. Great fun on a flyrod. Take advantage of the late sunset and get out there onto these small trout ponds after work. Being on the water is relaxing. Water temperatures like this won't last for long. Make sure to stay until dark as fish seem to bite best the last half hour before and after sunset.
