Water temps are cooling down from the brutal summer heat and the redfish and snook are eating heavily.

We have been locating and catching snook in every place we stopped to fish. They are in transition to their winter spots and are eating heavily in preparation for the winter months.

The redfish have shown up in big numbers and with some good size to them. The average size redfish we are catching are between 28 to 36 inches in length. As the water cools more and it feels more like fall, the redfish will school up and catching 40 on a charter will be common.
