If you have ever heard the saying "I'll sleep when im dead" this is why!! Snook and Redfish..The bite is on! Venice Inlet back waters from Donna Bay to Blackburn Point has been on fire during moving tides. Most of the larger fish being caught at night around bridges and docks. Albee Rd bridge and the swing bridge at Blackburn have produced a large number of big snook freelining live greenbacks and shrimp. Targeting docks and flats at night for Redfish has been awesome.Seaweed has made it hard to bottom fish in some of the back bays try to float a popping cork across the flats and dock areas to avoid getting tied up..It Works...So get out there and get them..until next time...calm winds and tight lines and as always Take A Kid Fishing!!
