Hello Summer! The snook bite in our area has been on fire this month just like it was last month. The big snook and eating on the strong tidal flows in the early morning and late afternoon. Areas around the beaches and passes are the best bet. Most fish have been in the 30-40 inch range. Trout have also been abundant on the grass flats near the beaches and passes, most in the 12-18 inch range with a few over 20.

On a recent charter the day after the 4th of July, Paul and his daughter Delaney got their first experience with snook and was it a good one! They caught many smaller male snook and a few snook over 30 inches.

If you want to get on some Clearwater summertime snook give me a call and we can get you the chance to catch your trophy snook.
