Snook fishing has been off the hook. It's not unusual to have a 30 or 40 fish day. Most range between 20" to 26" with a few PIGS mixed in. With the warm weather we had in December and with water temperatures hovering around that 65-70 degree mark, it's like we are stuck in the fall pattern keeping the bite strong.
White bait is the bait of choice. With warmer waters, bait has been easy to net. Fishing any mangrove line or docks with good tidal movement has been producing good numbers.
Gear; 10/2 Power Pro, 20lb Seaguar Fluorocarbon, and size 1 Daiichi Circle Hook.
