Today I had a couple gentlemen that just wanted me to show them some new spots to fish south of Gladstone as they have never fished down there before. Well, it was a good idea. But we didn't hit too many spots since we caught our limit at the very first spot we fished!!! The action was fast and furious on todays 5 hour trip with hard bites that were sinking the planer boards at times. The best color on the spinners tipped with crawlers was once again purple. With green coming in a close second. All in all, the good bite is holding up quite well. But we'll see how long that lasts now that we have north winds again. The walleye just don't like northwinds here on Little Bay de Noc as they allow very cold water to filter into the bay. But time will tell...
