I fished today for about 4 hours in the rivers sournding St Simons sound. We didnt have any redfish, but had 15 trout and alot of smaller trow back trout but they were alot of fun also. Most of the fish were caught in 3-8ft of water around structure and the water conditions were not all that good kinda muddy still from the full moon tides but the fish didnt seem to mind . All the fish were caught on live shrimp under a popping cork using a spinning rod. The spring bite is only going to get better and I look forward to a great year of fishing.
