We've done really good this year on the Cowlitz River Fishing from both the Barrier Dam and Blue Creek Boat Launch areas. We've had a good number of clients take home some very nice Spring Chinook for the BBQ.
Catching an average of 3-4 fish per day has kept our interest peaked and our boat full. Special rates running from $75.00 to $150.00/person have also kept as many possible lines in the water as possible.
While we're still targeting Springers for the next week or two, there have been many reports of some Summer Run Steelhead being caught below Barrier as well.
We'll start fishing for steelhead again around mid-month and if Sturgeon is your taste we'll be hitting the Columbia starting May 17th through June 30th.
