Saturday afternoon was also successful over the high and falling tide even though the skies were clear blue and without a cloud. Not usually the best striper fishing conditions if I get to choose. Sunday morning I was scheduled to use a clients boat to guide out of. But when we arrived the battery was very dead making starting the motor a dream. I returned home with one of the batteries and put it on my charger after rescheduling the trip for the afternoon. I returned with the partially charged battery and we were able to get the trip in. We were chased from the water though by a late afternoon thundershower. I was lucky again in that I did not like the look of the sky and headed back to the dock to be greeted by a roll of thunder as we pulled up. This week's schedule has more time scheduled on the fresh water with canoe trips and a couple of learn to fly fish trips. I am looking forward to it.
