I went back to the beach on my own time in search of fish. There were alot of metal throwers with out any success. Decided to clam ball. I got back to the beach @ 3:20. First fish on @ 3:22. I went South like the Blues. They were an easy mile off shore w/birds diving. All Stripers were puking up Sand eels. All were short of 28 in. but all fat n healthy, no sea lice which tells me some thing very important!!! out of over 5 dozen metal throwers n pluggers I only saw 1 short Striper caught. It seems like every 40 shorts you get 1 keeper. Same as the last 2 years. What do you think is in his belly? I SAY A WHOLE AMERICAN EEL!This fish was released , THE BELLY WAS SQUIRMING!
