Hi gang. We had a strong south wind for both trips today. Yesterday's day trip we had 100 keepers aboard the boat. Today we had no way near that with the strong south wind. Today's daytime fluking was slow for Capt. Al. Tonight's 3:30 trip, Capt. Scott was at the helm and it was blowing 25 to 30 out of the south. We started out to make that long ride where we've been catching the bluefish real good, but we had to fish a local bluefish spot because of the rough seas and that strong south wind. It took us an hour just to get to the spot - a couple of times I had to knock them out of gear. We stayed on one spot all night with doubl anchors and boated 50 bluefish plus one 25 lb. striped bass which took tonight's pool Marcos Valdeci of Mecranicsville, VA. Thanks. Capt. Scott. www.prowler5.com
