Saturday (9/22/07) turned out to be a beautiful day.The winds finally subsided after a week of strong northeast winds, and the water was nice and clear.Trout and Reds were biting well on the falling tide.We were able to keep 28 Trout, and caught 8 legal Reds. Most of the fish were caught on bottom rigs using 1/4 to 3/8 egg sinker as weight.Live shrimp were used as bait. Most of the fish were caught up creeks off the main river channels. To our surprise the trash fish were not a problem.
