Captain Judy's Saltwater Fishing Report
Which includes:
Inshore report, Offshore Report, Freshies Suggestions, and "Little Miss Judy's Believe It or Not!" (story)
Stump Man and his son Daniel!
While visiting River Services the other day I ran into Paul Moore and his son Daniel. As you can imagine the subject of fishing came into play. Paul started telling me that his son Daniel loved to fish! As soon as that remark came out we all started talking fishing. They had just recently taken a father son fishing trip. They had a pretty good day of catching. Daniel explained that he loves to pitch and troll unusual lures meaning he leaves the standards behind. This boil down to the fact that he goes with what he thinks will work.
On their last fishing adventure they caught quite a few fish while trolling such lures as YO-ZURI Pins and the crystal floating minnow. He had several other secret lures in his hand that looked good to me. I'm sure they would get the attention from any fish that tried to just take a pass by. While out fishing last time Daniel and his father Paul also known as "Stump" caught a nice 39-inch cobia. To the cooler they threw in many nice sizes of Spanish mackerel. The bottom line to this report is a simple one: "No smelly bait needed here!" Just a note: some of the largest fish that I have ever caught were hooked up while using some of the craziest lures! This all boil down to movement, location, and lot of luck! Thanks to Paul and Daniel for this fine fish-catching report!
