Summer is here and it is hot. The key during the summer and even into the fall is to get up early and get an early start when the water temperature is cooler in the A.M hours. We have had days with excellent lighting to go with good weather making for some good sightfishing. Good lighting and a slight breeze is excellent sighfishing conditions. The slight breeze also helps to cool you down when its hot.

Just about everything has been on the menu from Bonefish in the upper keys to redfish deep into Florida Bay. The tarpon fishing has been good as well with plenty of fish on the ocean side of the keys. This is an excellent time of year to get out and go after that slam or grand slam. Im looking forward to this summer, some good fishing and those slick calm mornings. Give me a call to set up your trip!
