Charters and Kayaks were out in full force this weekend! Venice intercostal from Caspersons Beach to Blackburn point saw a lot of activity. Caspersons Beach Area was hot on the flats. Redfish, trout and ladyfish were being caught. Some of the biggest trout I have seen were caught near the points of the sand bars and creek openings. Blackburn point rd offers the usual bounty of reds and snook. Snook fishing at night around the docks and bridges offered up a few suprises with lagre redfish being hulled out from the docks and pilings using shrimp and cut bait. The north Jetties had reports of sheep head being caught off the rocks. Until next week calm winds and tight lined...And as always…Take A Kid Fishing
