We took out another Take-A-Vet fishing trip today had on board SSgt Andy Silkworth, SSgt Scott Wanger and TSgt Mike Fletcher all with the USAF, stationed at MaGuire AFB. The trip was originally scheduled for last week, but due to the weather was put off until this week.

Day was georgious, flat calm and partly sunny.

Started at the Rips, drifting eels, no Line Siders biting only Skates and Robbins. Shift down to the clam beds and more of the same.

Deceided to change tactics, went in search of some good readings and found hungry Blues to 12 lbs, but no Bass. Battled the Choppers with the boys having a blast.

Ran out to the SH Reef, Boated Sea Bass to 4 lbs and Tog to 13".

Searched for some more reading and again Chooper Blues but no bass at home.

Guys had a great time, and I did also watching these young men revel in the experience.

The men could not have been more appreciative of the trip, and beyond words at a point. As i had told them that we are extremely thankful for the job they do and sacrifice they make.

What was most important is that everybody made a new friend.
