Knew leaving the dock, "today was gonna be one of those days!" NW wind, hard incoming tide, chum ran to the bow and we swung like a barn door on the anchor. Sea Robbins bit their @##* off! Ran to the channel to try a drift, naturally with the wind against we rolled our you know what's off! Caught a couple bluefish on the jigs. Ran down the beach looking for any kind of life, the southern guys had nothing but bad news, we did find some life off the Highlands, had birds working on the bluefish, unfortunately, the blues were in rain fish....by now I'm wishing I stayed in college!!. Tom Krako fished with a 6 oz croc and seemed to be the only one catching anything. Tried plain jigs, jigs with tails, peanut bunker, clams, you name it, we did it...only to watch the fish bust all around us...The only good thing about today is "I will get my revenge soon!! capt.ron
