Fishing is excellent on live shad, sassy shad and slabs. The fish that are feeding the best are a bit on the short side, however today we did catch a limit of fish with a lot of very healthy 15 to 18 inch fish. We are catching fish over twenty inches, but, many are rather thin. The fillet quality is much better on the shorter fish. The birds are putting us on the fish in the afternoons, however, in the mornings we are having to rely on sonar. Baring some sever cold weather, I expect the fishing to remain excellent through December
