The bite towards the end of last week was really turning on for me. On Thursday I boated around 25 fish with the biggest being around 5 lbs. I got started around 11 on Thursday and from the time I sat down at my first stop I caught fish until around 3 and then the bite died back off. Every fish I caught that day came on a ¾ oz rattle type bait and they was eating the bait so good that I was ripping their gills loose and they would knock two feet of slack in your line.

On Friday the bite was a little slower and I only caught around 10. I caught 5 on a trap and 5 on a jig. I didn't spend much time in the places I caught them on Thursday. I only hit them long enough to get a few bites and went looking at some new areas.

I didn't fish on Saturday, I figured I would leaver that wonderful weather to the guys fishing the bfl and as for Monday I wasn't getting put in all the rain.

I will pretty much be out the rest of the week and will give you another update.

I still have days open in March and April if anyone wants to get out.
