The cloudy over cast days produced the best bites this past week and the sun was the demise. On the overcast days we caught anywhere from 17 to 33 fish a day, the sunny days were 3 to 7 fish a day.

The bait was thick in most the grassy areas and the when we had cloud cover it was just super to be on the water. We caught them on top water baits most of the week on the cloudy days; we also fished traps, Punishers Spinner baits, big worms and crank baits and caught fish on all of them.

I fished from BB Comer down to the Park most of the week fishing 3 to 10 foot grass lines and edges. It was a great week with several overcast days and good numbers.

I'll be back on the water most of next week, with an open date here and there. The next week the 10/14-week I still have some openings.
