Its been a few weeks since my last report but I have been running full day trips everyday and then on several of the days I followed it up with another half day trip so that I could get everyone out on the water to get them pointed in the right direction. We have had some really good days and we have had some really tough days. The fish were starting to pull up really good until this last cold front hit and pulled them back out a little. Before the cold front we was finding water temps in the upper 60's and now its around 54 in the mornings and up to 58 or so in the afternoon. On Saturday we still saw a few that were locked on the beds, which really surprised me with as cold as it got. We have been catching fish on a crankbait and traps still mixed in with a texas rigged senko or creature baits and a jig. The biggest thing the last few days is figuring out weather they are in or out. With this warmer weather forecast and the full moon coming it should really pull them in.

Over the past few weeks we have caught a lot of really big fish and it seems like if we are hitting big fish we will catch several big fish through they day but on some days it seems the smaller fish are biting and we don't hit the big ones.

I had a group that had to cancel due to a death in the family so I know have the 7th,8th,9th and 10th of April available. I also have the 20th, 22nd, 23rd and 24th open so if you want to get in on some action just let me know. In May if you want to get in on the awesome ledge bite and throw some big crankbaits, swimbaits and football jigs I have the 7th,8th,9th and 10th and I can do a half day trip in the morning on the 12th. I also have the 24th through the 30th of May open as of now.

Here are some pics from the last few weeks, a few of them were hard to touch up and a few fingers got in the way on one but you can still see the fish. The biggest fish was 9.1 that we have had with some 7 to 8lb fish and several 4 to 5 lb fish.
