Hello from Anna Maria,

Well it felt like fall was in the air last week, but you sure couldn't tell that this week. The summer heat has turned back on. With that first little cool spell the kingfish, mackerel and tunny started to hit the beach, there was actually quite a few tarpon mixed in with them as well. Flats fishing remains very strong with plenty of keeper snook, redfish and trout to catch. It's really nice to have all these nice trout since it's been a long time since we've seen trout fishing like this. The snapper and grouper are still best farther out, but will start moving in closer over the next few weeks. There has also been a good number of mahi and even a few sails 20 plus miles out. The fishing is good now but it's really going to get hot when it starts to cool a little. I am expecting November to be really strong this year. I still have some October dates available. I am also running a special on charters & gift certificates booked through the end of November, $50 off my half day & $100 off my three quarter and full day charters.

Well I hope you have enjoyed my fall forecast. I am looking forward to dry cooler weather and great fishing.
