As would have it, a front passed through over night, the air was cold and fishing was tough, but we fished hard all day and managed to take a first place in the Redfish catagory.

We also managed to catch a small Flounder on a Gulp shrimp.

Other than that, fishing on Saturday was pretty tough.

As for other fishing news, despite the tough day on Saturday, fishing overall is really getting better and better. Inshore, the redfish bite continues to be good in the creeks, bays and along the ICW. The flounder are showing up in better numbers every day. Spanish Mackerel are doing well along the beaches and near shore reefs as are the King Mackerel. Cobia continue to caught from the piers to the near shore reefs.

Offshore, the Dolphin are getting closer to the beach. I had a report yesterday of Dolphin at the 23 mile rock. The gulfstream boats are hammering the Dolphin as well as still catching an occaisional YFT and wahoo.

Everyone have a safe and fun Memorial Day weekend.
