I had the pleasure of fishing with a great guy from New Jersey today the first day of a 2 day booking. We fished from Waterfront down to Brown's Creek. The weatherman said it was over 50 degrees today,it sure didn't feel like it with the 15 or 20 MPH winds. We didn't catch a lot of fish but we must have stuck and lost 10 or 12 we did land 5 or 6 the best was about 6 or a little better, the rest were 2 1/2 to 4 lbs.We lost 2 at the boat that would push 7.All of them came from shallow water (3 to 6 ft) on Traps (RED).They were just slapping at the bait and we were not getting solid hook-ups.We are going to do a different pattern tomorrow up towards Scottsboro.I will be at the Bassmasters Classic Thurs.,Fri.,Sat.,and Sun.I will be working at the MegaStrike booth. I hope to see everyone there, come by and see us. Be Safe and God Bless, Jim Burks
