Well with the fullmoon just over and the water temps in the upper 60's

the big females moved up and showed them selfs today.Big flats off

the main river is where we had our best action today. The fish really

seemed to be holding to the thicker pad patchs which tells me that they

are spawning on the root systems.A total of 17 fish with the biggest

weighing just over 8 pounds. Most of these fish were caught on shiners

but we ran out of bait a little early and fished artifical's for a couple hours.A Longshank 1/2 oz Golden Shiner spinner bait did catch

some fish for us today as well. This area of the St Johns River is

only minutes from Orlando Florida and Disney World. We had the whole

river to ourselfs today as we only seen one other boat and they were

crappie fishing.Hank I had a great time fishing with you today

and look forward to doing it again soon.
