The artificial fishing the past week has been way off. This is due to the 15 to 30
MPH winds everyday and a water temp drop of 18 degrees are our first cold front
of the year passed through.
The areas we were catching 40 to 50 fish in every trip
have been pounded by wind every day, the fish are still there but you just can't
stay on anchor when this kind of wind and current and working together.
I want to thank all my client for making Oct a great month as I was
on the water with clients 21 out of 31 days.Oct is usually one of the slower
months of the year but when the fish are biting like they were It is understandable.
It is getting time to break out the SHINER RODS and start doing battle with
some of the St Johns River Monster Trophy Bass. With the high waters we will
have during this winter we should have one of the best spawns we have seen in
years.Jan / Feb and March are booking fast so if you are looking for that Trophy
Fish of a lifetime call soon before I am booked up for the winter spawn.
I have a lot of clients ask me what I enjoy doing on my days off from fishing.
The answer to that question is I am and avid bow hunter.I will be heading to Ohio
the 7th on November for a week of bow hunting on one of my clients farms
this is a trip I look forward to every year.I have added a picture of a couple
WhiteTail deer I have taken in the past years on this trip to Ohio.
