The water temps made it into the mid 60's today and the big fish came to life.

My good buddy and client John F of South FL and his buddy Mike from Orlando

joined me for a full day of shiner fishing. The fish really didn't get turned on

til after lunch time but the afternoon bite was great with John catching

two big fish weighing 7 1/2 and 10 3/4.The fish are moving shallow as both

of these big fish were caught in 1 ft of water on a big wild shiner. The artificial

bite has been slow with the cold water temps hanging around this week but

as the fish get use to the cooler water expect the artificial bite to get red hot.

The river is still very low so be careful running in areas you don't KNOW!!
