Had a half day 4 hr shiner trip this morning with my good client Bill S of KS.The morning started off with a bang as Bill caught the first two fish in the picture weighing 7 1/2 and 7 lbs.Things went down hill from there as we had several MONSTER FISH blow shiners 3 ft in the air but not eat them. Several more 2 and 3 pounders were caught and we were off the water by 11am.The fish really seemed like they wanted to eat the first 30 minutes this morning and then after that we had fish chasing shiners and smacking at them but didn't want to really eat them. Some days these bedding fish can be though to catch no matter what bait you offer them. I still have days open this month the shiner fish is still going strong and the artifical bite is great.
