Picked up my clients at 6;30 at Highbanks marina on ST. Johns river for a day of fishing .

The first place we stopped had some action in the first 30 minutes with a good bass blowing a wild shiner clear out of the water but did not eat it, had a couple more runs with no hook ups

Then a cork went under and back under a grass float and the hook was set and the fight was on with 14 year old Ryan catching his first big bass that weighed 6 lbs.

The rest of the day was slow but we had a few more runs but no hookups seemed that the bass were not in the mood to eat. but Ryan was sure proud of his catch of the day.
