During the November month and forward the water temps go down dramatically from the summer temps and bring in the large trout.

The trout are showing up as the water temps cool to get ready for their winter spawn. These fish can be caught in 3 to 5ft depths using live bait or artificial lures. I prefer to use either the live bait or even artificial under a popping cork. The popping cork makes a noise that attracks the trout to attack the bait.

As the winter months go on, the larger trout will show up and catching 30 to 50 trout in a 4 hour period is common.
