Fishing with Kris Bartley and his friend James on February 2nd it was business as usual this time of year. By now I'm sure you know what that means…
Off to the Trout bite! Kris and James had just returned from there first tour in Iraq and were ready to fish. And the Trout were ready to chew…
Throwing plastics on a shell drop in the ICW it was again 4 hours of non stop action with a little bonus mixed in. Along with the Trout there were some nice 2 to 3 pound Blue fish.
Blue fish are a very aggressive fish and a ball to catch and I might add they have a mouth full of razor sharp teeth!!! You don't put your fingers near there mouth and I'm speaking from experience.
Trout season is closed this month in North Florida. You can still catch them but you can't keep any.
I think Kris and James had a great time catching at least 40 fish in the 4hrs we were on the water and surely grateful to be home.
Thanks for a great time guys and thank you also for what you are doing for our Country.
