Did I ever say how much I loved eating striper? Yep, amazing. Deep fried it tonight in a wet batter and rolled them in crushed corn flakes. Today's fishing...lots of life on Stellwagen Bank. No tuna for us, but it was fun just getting out there with an old friend on my day off. We trolled for a few hours in the slop (I didn't expect that) and saw some awesome marks on the fishfinder. The boat next to us hooked up and was backing down at a torrid pace, soaking them all on board. It was great to see.

Casting into diving birds, I caught a 25+ pound striper which had to go back in. No tuna, though. Plenty of whales.

We headed to Race Point and had a blast in the calming sunshine sight casting for stripers to 36" on light tackle and sluggos. We quickly limited out on stripers and played around for a while, catching fish at will. It was so cool seeing fish like that in clear water.

Bio: I'm Capt. Rich Antonino and I specialize in small private charters in Massachusetts from April-November. We fish for cod/haddock from Green Harbor and Plymouth. We fish Buzzards Bay for sea bass, porgy(scup), fluke, stripers/blues. We love shark fishing and tuna fishing and our boat is perfect for that. It's fast--we cruise at over 30 mph and can hit 40 mph. The boat has a full cabin and more fishing space than most 6-packs! We have a blast.
