Fishing has been great the past few days for Chinook salmon, coho and halibut. Its like July is already here. The salmon are being caught  very close the the harbour entrance. The halibut are closer to shore this time of year as well. The past couple of days the Chinook have started coming in bigger numbers.

There are also a good number of Coho showing up so there are positive signs all round. This is what we have all been waiting for!

The Chinook salmon are biting on small spoons. Sometimes glow is working. The Silver Horde and Gibbs herring aid 3# have both been consistent. This is the time of year for white hutchies as there are lots of squid in some areas and whether or not you are fishing right in the squid, the salmon have most likely seen some on their way down the coast.

We have some availabilty this next week so give us a shout if you are wanting to get out on some good action.

We have both day trips and multi-day packages.

Here are some pics from the past few days.
