Jan 28, 2013 Freshwater Fishing Report for Vancouver BC:
Well folks its mid winter and that means it's Steelhead season in the Fraser river valley just 1 hour east of Vancouver, BC! We are just starting the peak migration for the Chilliwack river so over the next 8 weeks the fishing will be prime! Silversides Fishing Adventures has been fishing this river since the late 80's and guiding here since 1996. If you want your best shot at hooking into one of these chrome beauties we'll put our expertise to work for you!. Steelhead in this river average 10-12 lbs and reach 20+ every year.
Starting in March we will also be guiding for Steelhead and Bull Trout on the Squamish river system just 1 hour north of Vancouver, BC. The Squamish is a fly fishing river for us and has beautiful big runs that produce very well. The scenery is stunning here!
