Once again, morning started out shakey, to say the least..had only a couple of bass and a ton of Sea Robbins. Loads of bait with some Albacore and blues in it, just not enough to stick around. Took a pretty good ride to the South, found some readings put it on a drift, started picking at the Blues...caught slack water, the birds showed up, fish started to bite. had 3 drifts on the bass, more shorts than keepers and all the blues you wanted. Once the current started to run, the bass bite was over, the bluefish kept on eating. Karl Herkert, Kearny N.J. had the pool fish in the AM with a very nice 18 pounder. Tough to be in so many places when your one of the only boats out....Nice to get lucky once in a while!!! Capt.ron
