Good Time Dave's Fishing Charters have been targeting chinook salmon for the last week. On 2 trips salmon of 19 and 15 lbs were caught and a 30+ lbs chinook was lost at the boat. The action has been coming at the high slack tide in the afternoon. The bait of choice has been medium anchovy in a purple haze teaser head. Halibut fishing off of Victoria remains good as long as the tides and weather co-operate. Border Bank and Albert Head have produced good catches of halibut from 15-45 lbs. Call or e-mail Dave for charter information.
